Training Sex Workers as Paralegals to Expand Access to Justice
When sex workers experience violence, the path to justice is often blocked by stigma, fear and criminalisation. KESWA trains sex workers as community paralegals and human rights defenders — equipping them to provide information on criminal procedure, support reporting, and follow up on cases.
By facilitating dialogue between sex workers, investigators and prosecutors, we strengthen the institutions that should protect everyone — including sex workers.
